One of my favorite things in life is tracking down hard to find comics from all over the world. One of my favorites is Taiyo Matumoto’s No. 5. Jodorowsky on Moebius and their colab’ing on the ill-fated rendition of Dune that eventually was turned over to Lynch. The fruits of these labors eventually turned into Alien.

I’m at a complete loss for words right now. His influence on my life is more profound than I can properly express. I think I’m going to get offline for a while and read comics made by an untouchable genius. Wishing you all the best.

This is probably the coolest or highest quality, 24hr comic I’ve seen. It’s a french artist that does everything straight to ink.
I did a TinTin/Girl With The Dragon Tattoo illustration for this month’s issue of Complex Magazine. It was really fun to do but there were a few bumps, most notably they chose to blur my signature, but you can see it here. I don’t know what the big deal is; I don’t think it would offend Herge’s sensibilities. …Certainly not any more than a scantily clad woman and implied bestiality.
